Rep Your City Box

Here is the box I was working on in my 1st picture of WOYWW. I used some paper I had in my stash that I think worked perfectly. It reflects the ocean and the things of the sea.
Top of the box and the side is covered with burlap and sprayed with Lindy Stamp gang the image is a digi from the coloring pages, I used copic to detail the water and stickles for the sand.
Close up of the shells I put on the top

Some of the goodies for my partner

The inside of the lid of the box.  I made the pins

This is bottom of the box, the paper looks like sand on the beach

Thank you for checking out my project and leaving a comment.

WOYWW

So, here's what's on my workdesk for this Wednesday.  It was bought to my attention by my good friend that she was viewing my WOYWW. And at that moment I realized I didn't post this morning. Thank you friend.  Well here is my workdesk. To point out a few things. I've been working on some Breast Cancer Awareness ATC's  to be given to the ladies that identify themselves as a Survivor, Fighter or Honoree on SOC.  I have my copic out because I was coloring a digi image for 2 of the ATCs. A half drank cup of coffee, tee hee.  Oh, and to the left in the picture below is my swap for Altered Box Swap with the theme  'Rep your City'. My partner is in Texas. I will have pictures of it up tomorrow.

Thanks for looking and sharing your comments.

What's On Your Work station Wednesday

Ok here is my desk for this Wednesday.  I thought by participating in this challenge WOYWW#172 , I would have my desk clean at least one day of the week but as you can clearly see that didn't happen for this day at least. Part, now only part of this mixture is because I started re-organizing my wooden stamps then I moved to my charms that I had stored or should I say thrown in the most used plastic shoe containers.  Well of course when you're doing reorganizing or organizing the desk is the catch all.  Sometime the stay all.  No actual crafting going on, just yet.  Stay tone for an actual project.
Thanks for the comments.  Have a crafty day.

WOYWW #171

This is the first WOYWW #171 time I've taken this challenge. It is a once a week challenge that you take a picture of your workdesk and share it with  others. So here it goes. But today I have sorta and excuse for the mess you see. The box on my desk is the start of a swap over at SOC call Rep your State.  I just started it and have the basic painting of Gesso and added a little paint on the edges. I have printed the main object for the top and coloring it and putting some finishing touches on it.  Come back to see the finished project.

To Much of a Good Thing

Well the summer is over or so it seems. And the kids have started back to school. So the ladies over at CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge blog have started the digi challenge.  The first image was sent to the members of CDAC and you submitted your creation and some were selected to be STARS in CDAC. Well I almost made it. Chuckle chuckle, that almost was a stretch for the other creations that were chosen. Anyway this is what I made from the digi I received.

Thanks for looking. Have a Fabulous Day!

The Tooth Fairy

My creation for the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge is an Image supplied by A Day For Daisies.
I colored the Fairy with my copics and went over the wings with a gelly roll pen color clear star. It's a gold glitter pen.  I cut the shape of the Fairy with Spellbinders nestabilities eyelet circles, the largest one. The color copies I used are BG000-under her dress, BG02 her dress and hat,  E02 skin, YR24 her hair.

My Girls

This is the selection from the CDAC Progressive Challenge. I used the baby faces that are so cute. I use my copic markers to color the faces. I cut the title, the flowers and the vine on my cricut with MTC. The paper I used is from the American Traditional Dewsigns textured Cardstock.
This Image is supplied by Glitterbabe.

I have 7 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter. So I decided to use the baby face to make a banner for a scrapbook page.

IT'S ALL ABOUT BEARS

I used and image from my freebie on the CDAC (Crafters Digital Art Center) Progressive Freebie Challenge. These images are created and as a member of the group you get the the images and then you post your creation from the images and the next month you do the same. Check it out. with the link above. The images included this time of bears.

On this card I used my copic markers in coloring and my trim is a Martha Stewart punch, sorry I didn't write the name of it down. It's and older one, glued it on the card and added some buttons and butcher's twine and there you have it.

Hope you like, leave a comment if you do or even if you don't. Thanks for looking.

I have registered for Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 online class. It states that we will have access to these tutorials for life and I'm sure that the lessons we will learn will be invaluable. I have not been able to take classes from Tim in person so this is the closest I will get to him. Check out his blog by clicking on the above link. Class will start tomorrow or at midnight tonight. Come back to see what we have accomplished. Not sure if the post will be daily or weekly. It will depend if we finish something or just learn a technique to apply to a project. Would love to read your comments on my blogging. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

MOMENT

This is my word of the YEAR.
On SOC we choose a word for the year and I choose MOMENT. I choose it because I want to cherish every MOMENT because we never know when the last one will be. Life is not promised to us. We must LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH.
