This is my word of the YEAR.

On SOC we choose a word for the year and I choose MOMENT. I choose it because I want to cherish every MOMENT because we never know when the last one will be. Life is not promised to us. We must LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH.

Ice Cream Sundae

This is a digi image on CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge for this month. What I used was my copics to color an the whipped cream I used Sparkly fluff. The Digital image is provided by Lauretta's Digital Stamps.

Another CDAC Progressive Challenge

This is a card I made using my second digi image from CDAC Progressive.
It is a Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I use my copics to color the image and the paper line is Lost & Found Union Square

Santa Ate too Many Cookie

The CDAC Progressive Challenge is a proactive freebie challenge. This mean as long as you are making and submitting cards you will be able to get the free images. But if you are just joining you have to pay a small fee ($1) to start getting the images. There are some wonderful designers. Go check it out This is a fun way to get and use fabulous images that will be offered during these challenges.

I made this card for my first entry to CDA Progressive Freebie Crafters - Crafters Digital Art Center. The image was a creation of Crafty Ann's. I sprayed the base with some perfect pearl. My paper is from the K& Company Christmas line , I colored with copics and stickles are studio g.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year my blog friends. Hopefully I will be able to keep my blog going this year. I do enjoy go to other blogs and reading their post and seeing the projects made.

My Christmas was very nice DH, baby Yvonne and I went to Church and then we came back home and had a non traditional dinner and opened presents. We had some Louisiana gumbo and crackers. Man was it good.

Moving on to the start of Kwanza, the only thing I did was make a few cards. One design was from a clip art, the insides and back are stamps that I have.

12 Days of Christmas Day Tag #2

This is the second day of the Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas. Since I'm at a crop I did not have all my products at hand that Tim used. I improvised with the ribbon and tore some Claudine Hellmuth sticky back canvas and inked with distressed stain.

Tim Holtz and started again with his 12 Days of Christmas tags. I've been a follower of his tags and just wondered over them. Well this time I plan to take part and try to complete them. Well this one I had most of the items, well almost I did purchase the paper that looks like his snowflake embossing folder.

Well anyway this is what I came up with.

Gratitude Album

The lady with the turkey is ready for Thanksgiving dinner with the family. I used a digi stamp and copics. The sentiment is from a stamp set I found in my stash as I was trying to organize my studio g stamps and unmounted stamps. This is an according fold book that I will put pictures of our family dinner on Thursday.  This is also a fulfilled challenge on SOC Sisters of Color.  Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
